Biobased Manufacturing
Molded-pulp medical disposables — bedpans, urinals, emesis basins, and kidney dishes — plus biodegradable absorbent underpads and biobased packaging, made from U.S.-harvested water hyacinth fiber.
Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business
Ross Medical Supplies LLC manufactures biodegradable molded-pulp medical disposables and biobased packaging from water hyacinth — a federally listed invasive aquatic weed — and distributes medical products to federal and commercial buyers.
Our Mission
Water hyacinth chokes American waterways from Louisiana to Texas, costing millions each year to control. We turn that problem into product: harvesting the invasive weed and converting it into biodegradable medical disposables and packaging manufactured on U.S. soil. Every unit removes biomass from our waterways and replaces a petroleum-based or imported alternative with an American-made, compostable one.
